To cancel a booking:

1. Log in to your Rent Boat Cyprus account and go to “My Bookings.“
2. Select the booking you wish to cancel and click “Cancel.”
3. A pop-up window will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to cancel this booking?” If you are certain, click “OK” to proceed with the cancellation. If you are not sure, click “Cancel” to return to the booking details.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes arise. However, boat owners are expected to honor all accepted bookings whenever possible. Cancellations should only occur in cases of force majeure, such as:

• Unsafe weather conditions preventing safe navigation.
• Damage or mechanical failure rendering the boat unusable.

If you must cancel due to boat damage, please remember to update your availability. Go to “My Listings,” then “Edit,” and then “Check it to Hide Booking ” to reflect the unavailability.

Please be aware that your cancellation rate directly affects your visibility on the Rent Boat Cyprus platform. Owners with consistently low cancellation rates will be prioritized in search results, while frequent cancellations may negatively impact your listing’s ranking.

Furthermore, Rent Boat Cyprus has implemented a cancellation policy to minimize last-minute cancellations by owners and maintain trust within our community.
